I don't think Ritz "tried to be manly" at all. What he did is protecting his land - he's the lord, born and raised there and totally capable of dealing with issues (and he did ask Sieg to join them anyway since he trusted her)
I think you misunderstood. Sieg was retired so she's trying her best to move on from it that's why she loves learning harvesting or hunting from him. Ritz didn't really pushed her to learn that. It was her decision to help.
Dude, your wife was a ranking officer. And one of the best ones at that. OF COURSE you should let her deal with this issue. She should have been in charge from the start. She knows a lot more about this sort of thing that harvesting or hunting. Use her talents!!
