The last chapter

I'm actually interested with how the last chapter opened discourse regarding trans sexuals/genders. I've heard of de-transitioning so seeing Mimi give up her dream to have a woman body because she knew her current body is still a man and fits what her love one wants fits for me. First, Mimi wanted to date but the men she wanted desired for a woman's body. Second, it wasn't gender dysphoria that made her want to transition but simply the convenience of having a woman's body. Third, Kaoru respected Mimi's desire to be a woman but his sexuality made it difficult for him to continue loving Mimi (whom he assumes to have a gebder dysphoria). Fourth, Mimi finally found someone who she can date with the body she has and whom she truly loves. Fifth, I do think Mimi compromised a alot like her operation, the position in sex, and even her job. Last, it's short because I see too much of Mimi's love and little of Kaoru's. But the latter is more of my preferences because knowing Mimi's character, she's just happy to be with Kaoru.
