This is SO underrated I read the novel, and if you compare this to the novel it would obviously be lacking (only 11 chaps) but the author did a wonderful job with so little Only thing that bothers me, even from the novel, was the age gap between Edmond and Haydee.. It’s clear they love each other and don’t care but the near 20 year age gap between them is hard to forget sometimes
