i wouldn’t mind shipping leshta and yuri if yuri doesn’t see him as only a family member. she looks up to him; and she respects him. yuri once said that he was probably confused by compassion, and in the raws


spoiler (and more below) : it shows leshta’s past. he probably sees himself in her. he said he reminds her of how he came into bellum with nothing, how they both are someone who isn’t willing to give up. how they both came from nothing and strived to reach the top. (chapter 37)

and with the queen; i don’t find it much of a problem honestly? this isn’t like now, and as a queen; she has to give the right judgement. also she doesnt have a good view of men; she sees them as power-hungry, horny, ignorant, selfish, etc. these men doesnt accept that she is the queen, but lays low to avoid her wrath (she did conquer 99 nations) to her, the only man she could trust was ennon. she oftenly thinks that if it weren’t for her, he could have been the ruler. but ennon chose to not potray any ambition for the throne, and chose to live as a scarecrow, “the queen’s dog who slain his father”. (chapter 33) in that sense; she also admitted to yuri in the future chapters (chap 28) that she devalued her, because she wondered if yuri had nothing but her talent. that her personality would be the same as those men, who looks down on her politely. she also said that she won’t lie that she was testing yuri.

she might seem like she wants to take all the rights for yuri’s work, but in the future chapters (23-24), after yuri presented the clothes, she’s impressed, and she gives the proper compensation for all of yuri’s hard work, gives her a last name and a title because she genuinely felt yuri’s talent and she doesn’t see yuri as someone who would be satisfied with the honour of making her clothes. (additionally, she made yuri the advisor of domestic affairs)

regarding ennon; nyeh i don’t have anything to say, but he actually adores yuri and becomes protective of her in future chapters (chapter 41). we are slowly reaching the point where ennon realises his feelings; as well as yuri. (it’ll be somewhere between the chapters 50 - 90 of the manhwa) sorry for the rant
