He's probably trying to sus out a way to gain her trust. If he can't will her to his side with magic why not do it the old fashion way with truth (though it seems he'strying to mix truths and lies togetherto make it confusing). My thoughts are he will accidentally end up really caring for her ╮(￣▽￣)╭ If not.. I guess he'll get demon yeeted.
