And who said I liked him? I don’t want something bad to happen to him because the current him and mc haven’t had bad blood and he obviously cares about her now and she cares about him. But I still think he was a shitty dad.
I like the dad in "I Was Born As The Demon Lord's Daughter".
Even though he tried to kill his baby daughter when his beloved wife died after giving birth, he stopped at the right moment, felt lots of shame and regret and then does everything to make it up to her. He still lives with this guilt until the MC offically forgives him. And she didn't have to act cute to survive!
I think he was the very first tyrant father typ who actually is very apologetic and gives his best to redeem himself. Now compared to the other novel fantasy tyrannical arrogant dads who threatened, abused or almost killed the FL, they did not do such a thing. These assholes just get tendernized/won over by the FL's charm and give her lots of luxuserious gifts for getting their interests ...
I hate that trope.

And The Dad Was Brainwashed By The REAL FAKE daughter who is a demon And When He comes to his senses He feels so bad that he brings his daughter back by making a deal with a demon. IIt has to do with his dreams I think.
