It's always the kindest of people that get the shortest stick.... really if the manager wasnt gay and he was real I would probably marry him. The friend is a complete and utter asshole...choosing to stay friends with him because he doesnt want to lose his friend, the manager is probably suffering so bad because he is soo close and yet so far...it would have been better if the friend just broke their friendship off (the manager could never as he loves him) that way at least the manager has a chance to move on.
