Basically I, myself have just finished reading the manga so I don’t even know what is going but here is what I know
Basically this god who possessed shinoa has been trying for a million years to resurrect his son( the seraph ) which is Mika and yu has been a test subject for him( so even if he kills him, he can always make a new one ). Because he wanted to protect his family, yu took powers from both ( his demon and the angel which is the second trumpet ) so in the end he is neither a human, angel or a demon
Hiren had to pay a huge price for reviving his dead friends and because of that he almost became a demon and that sword which he uses to fight originally belonged to mahiru. I am not sure about his motive but I think it is something related to extend his friends lives and resurrect the whole humanity

ummm...well i read all chapters but i couldn't grasp every thinh so the one possesed shinoa is some kind of god who made angels and vampires righ? and that mika and yuu were reborn many times in many shapes right? so..what are they and why is guren like that? what is his motive ? (and i remember someone commented that mika's real body is hidden somewher
