I alternate between wanting to smack ML and feel sorry for FL who has so low self esteem. Then I feel like somewhere in this mess, there is ML who is actively trying to overcome his bad impression of FL and gives her boat load of happiness. Who accepts he is an ass and respects her mind and acknowledges she has capability. So he is not total typical jerk of his period who calls her whore for no reason because he is attracted to her (surprisingly that was so common). At least his worries has basis based on how she portrayed herself in press and that he knew nothing about her. I just wanted them to get together after they communicated properly.
