bae eunsoo being the self-centered person she is would only care about her reputation and the attention. this caused her not to care or realise her surroundings that easily, hence not realising the happiness her fiance gave her that she took for granted.
it's only after he died that she comes to notice the people and the situation surrounding him, seeing him abused mentally and taking drugs which cause him to become less sane.
props to him for keeping eunsoo's happiness first even though she doesn't deserve it. and it hurts to see that bae eunsoo's name constantly reminds him of nam eunsoo which tortured him :(
also we get to see eunsoo going through the worst but with her ego, it was able to keep her up and running. that's what i love about her and when she finally learns to care for someone else more than before(Damon), you can see her character development. this story really deserves a 10/10 but i kinda wanted to see the other ballet dancers' reactions after the party, like was Veronica still a dancer? was the ballet dance company taken down? i guess we just gotta imagine
