Hangyum has not cheated on Hajin. In the past they were not dating when he kissed and dated Juri to protect Hajin. In chapter 46-47, Hangyum and Hajin are not together (they broke up in chapter 43) and Hangyum is wasted thinking he is kissing Hajin. Neither time has he cheated on Hajin. Being drunk someone loses all rationally. Hangyum did not even seem interested in that girl.
Hangyum comes off really bad in the Tapas version. He is not that bad in the Korean one. Example is in chapter 43 he is cruel and being a jerk. He is not like that all in the Korean. “Victim card” is not even said. Let’s not see each other again is actually said version whatever cruel line Tapas put. Tapas changed it to where it would sell better but it would do better if they stuck to the original story. The French and the Japanese are sticking better with the Korean story then the English is.
Thinking about it. Could you email me. Please email me where your feelings about Hangyum are coming from. I read the Korean version first and I have a different opinion. I don’t read the Tapas all but once. Actually, I had to stop half way in Tapas’ chapter 49. I have have seen both storylines and I have some experience with the Asian culture. So I would assume you only have read the Tapas version of this story. I am seeking to understand and I think I may make a topic to help people understand Hangyum better. But I need to know how others see him and why to even try. I can try to read the Tapas version as it is new to me and try not to use my knowledge on the story or Asian culture. He thinks” people believe with their eyes (the kiss that is going to happen) and not with their minds, so I’ll just show them the proof they need. That he is telling the truth and she is lying because she is spreading a false rumor because she was rejected. He is discrediting her.

He kisses her. She does not push him away. Telling everyone he was telling the truth.
I know the Korean is similar but different. The last line in For Tapas is for “How about I make it up to you after school.” But I know this line in Korean is asking to go on a date after school.

This is a story from Korea and homosexuality is not as open as it in other areas. Even in the USA homosexuality Is not accepted and that person would have to drop schools, get homeschooled or go to another school due to being bullied.
