At the end of the last season, Nakyum's teacher is depicted thinking about how he could indeed have used Nakyum for his benefit. I think it's his doing that Nakyum is still there, nonetheless enjoying himself

I mean I wouldn’t say I’m Ignoring it, just making a general theory
Okay so here’s what I think.
Nakyum is forcing himself to enjoy himself, because he literally just got his heartbroken and he attempting to push it out of his mind.
Also he’s probably just going along with so he doesn’t get abused anymore. Cause I mean he knows that if he tries and fights it’ll back to square one. And I don’t wanna see him get hurt anymore.
