lmaooo honestly!! i was scrolling through all the most "popular/agreed" in the comments, cause it's interesting to see what ppl said back then and compare it to the current state of the story. and i CACKLED the number of times joowon/joohae stans been right about their analysis on basically EVERYTHING going on in this story. and yet they'd get relentlessly downvoted or attacked by taku stans, these selective reading mfers lmao (ofc some taku stans were more respectful and gave interesting insight too. but i swear most of them were so off lol)
LMAOOOOOO Fr @selective reading and Fr Joowon/joohae were always right like we were the only ones reading and understanding each characters flaws and how they contributed to the story. Some taku stans were caught up in a fantasy it was so weird to me
yesss exactly!! they kept idolizing taku and saying he was "perfect" and an "angel" or dumb shit like that. like you failed to see all red flags and just how manipulative he was or....?? and no matter what joowon did, even if it was genuine or he had actual good intent, or got excellent character development, they'd constantly crucify him
it's like they could not move past the initial presentation of LOH being this story with unoriginal characterizations, where one is the victim, one a abuser, and one is the "saviour" lolol

Taku is not in love with Haesoo he’s in love with The Haesoo who is in love With Joowon. It is something that he cannot have and will probably never have therefore it makes him infatuated with Haesoo. He likes the brokenness of him and the complex feelings in Haesoon eyes and in Haesoo‘s actions. It is an infatuation and obsession and if they do get together in the long run and Haesoo is no longer in love with joowon ... taku will get bored. And you might say well he said that is something that he never felt before yeah it is something that he’s never felt before because it’s something that he wants... the relationship between Haesoo and Joowon the connection that Haesoo has with Joowon is what he wants that’s why it bothers his mind and he confuses it with love.
