To be honest I stopped reading by chapter 10 because it was messed up and I sensed some pedo stuff, so...in the end, was that pink haired girl in love with Shio? Why didn't she choose her brother? Did Sato kind of "groom" Shio into becoming "her bride"?

She did groom her and then tried to commit suicide with her. Half way to the ground, she decided to use her body to protect Shio, but Shio decided to not be with her family despite her brother clarifying that the mother gave her up because she was going to kill her abusive husband and go to jail. It was just all around messed up. Shio remained "in love" even as she got older and wanted to die

I'm sad Shio didn't choose her brother. Let's be honest, Sato was on the pedo scale and she warped Shio's mind. I'll give her that her own mind was warped by her aunt, but she basically passed it on. Shio was estranged from her family.
