All I can hear playing at the back of my head while reading this was Bo Burnham's Lower Your Expectations. Pretty unrealistic that a high spec guy would coincidentally appear at a matchmaking group but this is fiction so I guess whatever goes, goes ╮(￣▽￣)╭
