I think it's left on an open ending,so it's up to the reader to decide whether or not he dies.But if this isn't the case, then i'm sure that he doesn't die,which in my opinion plays a big part of his character,since they "promised".

Okay, so, did Yoonbum really die in the end? I wanna know since I remembered how he promised Sangwoo that if Sangwoo dies, he'll follow him to death no matter how hard.
