What a conundrum. On one hand, I feel sorry for big bad dragon boy. His entire existence was deemed to be undesirable trash and he's finally finding someone he can cherish. On the other hand, you can't trick and then horrifically torture someone for hundreds of years (if not more) and then expect that they will be able to forgive you and want to be with you. There are some betrayals that you just can't come back from, no matter how much you might have changed. I wonder how the author(s) will address this gap.
