Ya you can easily find that type of scenery in Canada and in northern mountainous USA. Not everywhere is like that ofc. They're not in the middle of a big city like Toronto. They're more towards the country side / areas of ski resorts. If ya google Canadian ski resorts that's pretty much the same kinda thing you see in the manga. Even the building they're staying in is accurate.

I've been to the falls 10 times, four times just last year (I go to see my brother in Canada a lot I guess). Go to the Canadian side. The American side doesn't get a nice frontal view. Also, the American side is pretty shady. The Canadian side is full of attractions. For both sides, outside of winter season you can get on a boat that take you real close to the falls (poncho included). It's also very nice after a winter storm because seeing the falls frozen is very impressive. I wouldn't recommend staying long tho. Just a day is enough.

There's no nice mountain landscape or greenery btw, but Niagara-On-The-Lake is nearby and it's a pretty cute town with lots of wineries and vineyards. If you are of legal age, I recommend doing a wine tour.

Im from Canada. For real, we all have our own issues in every country. But i couldn't be happier with my country. Canada truly is an amazing place that doesn't get praised enough. It feels so nice to actually read a manga that has some setup here...It may sound strange but I can relate so much with the way he was raised. It that wilderness, with dogs, forests, rivers. Outside the cities it really can be like what's described in this manga ;)

i might not live in Canada but i agree that it doesnt get enough exposure. i feel like ppl sometimes forget its even a country since it doesnt get mentioned much. it is quite pretty.

I think this is subjective. Perhaps it doesn't get mentioned enough in comparison to the USA and a few other Western countries, but at least most people know that Canada is a country and have a general idea of where it's located. I'm South American and people of the Western and Eastern world know shit about it. Most people don't even know that the tallest waterfall in the world is located in Venezuela (my birth country). I've had people wish me a happy Cinco de Mayo when I don't even know what it is cause people assume it's a Hispanic holiday. South American's don't even eat toritllas.
