I'm pretty sure the ex wife didn't left him bcoz of money problems and cancer. She left because she had enough didn't you see the flashback, he himself know the he was the one let her wife down. He never had time for her
The ex wife is to clingy. In his last life she left him because he was poor and had cancer. When he need her the most she wasn't there, whts to say that she'll be there this time. Point of this I HATE THE EX
