Interesting. I'm not much of a bdsm fan, but at least Sadistic Beauty at most has a bunch of adults who need to get their emotional shit together. Never good when the villain is a manipulator. It's still an interesting enough read to pull me through the plot, just to find out how it ends. The characters individually to me are laughable, but also serious about what they choose to do, which is like: ok, but how long is it going to take you guys to confide in each other and stay away from the manipulator.
1st. No consent when things start up in the first chapters
2nd. Hyesol's annoying af and apparently there's a second girl later to stirr up the drama??
3rd. I was looking forward to this thinking wow, there's actually a webtoon out there for what would you call it, a "reverse" hetero relationship?? <Big part of it is sadism tho bc of Hyesol... BUT, I could never get over the foul start and the fact that Hyesol should drop dead before she kills the boys herself (just saying).
I got to the end of ch. 16 and I'm so done. I'm glad it's not likely to end up being a poly relationship here going off of what others have commented bc the girls are horrible, so I'd rather it not be a poly for this webtoon. It must be rlly hard to find good poly stories too for ppl who like poly relationships, so sad. This is it for me, the sexy scenes are still half interesting but I can't read any of them without being disgusted simultaneously bc it's such a wack manipulative relationship going on and it's like the boys keep losing their sense of self and worth (wtf).
CAN I JUST SAY: Not even Haruhi Suzumiya would go this far... if I had to compare, bc Hyesol gives of some Haruhi vibes for sure, but it's 10x worse bc she hides it and preys on people without mercy. Haruhi at least cares about what someone she really likes thinks to an extent and doesn't hide her intentions from the start so people at least know what they are getting into.
