There are more than 362 ways to kill/assasinate a person without them noticing
As we saw just now he doesn't seem to dislike her. The original character might have hated her dad or something but he might e not hated her. Even if in the future he starts to dislike her he can't just attack his own daughter (who was important to him once) or let his guard down thinking she is not a threat to him.
In the original storyline the wrote that she killed her father what I'm trying to understand is how did the girl without magic managed to kill her father?
