Are people seriously getting angry at the author for showing Yuki’s past experiences with men?

It’s part of growing up and finding yourself. What’s wrong with seeing Yuki struggle with his sexuality in a realistic way? Since when do we expect people to be pure virgins that “save themselves for the one they love”? I can’t believe people are being put off by the author’s portrayal of Yuki being human and experiencing life. I understand that seeing Yuki without Takuma may be unexpected, but this is a flashback, and there’s nothing wrong with showing a character struggle with being gay and learning more about it through sex. It’s called character development. Should we pretend that Yuki didn’t struggle with his sexuality because “he was in love with Takuma”? And can we please stop objectifying virginity? It’s 2020, and being grossed out by someone having sex with someone who isn’t the mc (before they were even dating) is such an outdated attitude towards BL and sexuality in general.
