I guess it goes with the reality of no matter what you do you cant please the ones who dont like you. From my perspective, its a way to trap the weasels before they make their way in. I dont know what the author spin on this really is tho
Not only that,, based on the reactions of the people she angers, she can really pin point who would really try to harm her, you can't catch a culprit if everyone is constantly smiling.
I thought lippie wants to save her family, how is angering everyone who may dislike her family help? Seems really short sighted, but I know the plot will save everyone in the end
