It's ironic that they are both like that to each other. Haderius calls him his bride, not by his name, repeatedly; and moves in next door after getting into his school all after being rejected several times. And you're right, it is still messed up to offer up a replacement...and why would he assume H is bi?
He is forcing his feelings on this uke by not calling him by his name...he calls him his bride....if he called him a groom I would say the same. I guess my comment wasn't clear.
Haderius calls him that despite being rejected by him as if his feelings don't matter and this marriage thing was gonna happen eventually, regardless. So the uke tries to introduce this cute chick without regard for Haderius' confession of his feelings. It sucks even more that the uke didn't consider that Haderius was gay, not bi.
Ok but to answer your last sentence, haderius DOESN'T mind the uke's gender, so basically it wasn't specifically proven that he's "just gay". I also get what you're trying to say, regarding the fact that they don't want to consider each other's feelings. And tbh, I don't have a solid answer to this but perhaps it's one of haderius customs to call the uke, his bride. Personally, I don't have anything against haderius calling the uke "bride" somehow, it's an honest honorific to me. Hasn't it been one of yaoi's good ol' yaoi plots for the past updates? The typical seme proposing to the uke that he'll be his future bride and all? Honestly, it's so random but where'll be the drama without it? As for the uke trying to play match maker, I am indeed curious of what the progress and development would be, sure it was insensitive of the uke to do such a thing and it's not excusable.
SMH! I hate when they do this! It is so insulting to try to hook someone up with somebody else after they have expressed to you how they feel about you
