I deeply appreciate this honesty and depth. They are fully realized people and not just characters in a book. I live for this kind of character development. I know this is a harsh story to read since it shows these dirty, ugly human emotions but that's what grounds it in reality. And even though a small part of me wants that fairytale ending, the other part is so much more fulfilled with the way these characters go through real human emotions. Its refreshing to read such well designed characters
