Ikr! I really think they are a cute couple. Like in most of these comics they make the female characters dislikable on purpose, but this ml interest is really sweet , caring, and patient. Some people have to realize that you can’t change sexuality. Imagine if the handsome guy and the female ml switched personalities, then everyone would curse her out.

Well, the major reason is bc in shounen ai/yaoi mangas, female characters are portrayed either as dramatic/negative or insignificant.. So as soon as they see female character interfering in a relationship they think 'here comes drama' and start cussing
.. esply when they are here to see the two male characters fall in love, it adds in a few chaps with misunderstandings and suffering which they'd rather avoid and jump straight to fluff.. supporting good female characters are rare and very appericiated though.. Though there are still some who read for smut and even then the drama is rather preferably skipped..

I don’t hate the woman but it’s true that I came for the gays. It’s because the story genre is about two male people and that’s what I came for. If I wanted to read straight couple I’d go for another genre but of course If I wanted to read Bl I’d obviously wouldn’t like to see a female going out with the main character whom I ship with the male seme. Same for boys who like GL. I wouldn’t blame them if they said “give us the lesbians” cause if that’s what they wanted to read why tf should they want a boy and a girl relationship inside their loved story. That’s kinda sad you call it disgusting just because people has a different taste or thinking way from yours. We just want to read what we’d like. That’s why there is genres available in mangas or books.
You see, I don’t have anything against straight people since I am straight too but if I want to read BL which is specific genre about two boys having a relationship I wouldn’t try to see the good side on a girl because I’d rather to see Bl in Bl in the story lol.
Like I’m okay if there’s a girl which is friend of them or if there’s a girl and boy or girl and girl relationship ASIDE from the main ship but if the girl is interpreting the main ship obviously why would I be happy?

I wrote a lot because people assuming so many bad things about Bl lovers and it’s getting annoying. About the shojo tag, I was talking about mangas in general not specifically this one. Also even if there’s a shojo tag there’s also a Bl tag which I assume most of the readers came for.. so of course they’d be expecting Bl relationship and get sad if they won’t get it.
