There a lot of negative comments here but I thought it was realistic. Being in love with someone who unknowingly broke your heads and having to deal with the consequences of your own ego... I thinks the seme was a broken man holding onto the past and doing his best for Hana- going as far as to give her up to a seemingly more stable home. Then the uke come alone and kinda inserts himself in the situation falling in love and all that.
I do agree that it ended at the start but I honestly would be happy for any ending with this, something like: - it didn’t work out and uke goes on to find a new love - seme works out his issues and treated the uke like the treasure he is Sometimes love sucks.
Some people has unrealistic view on love. It's not simple and people do not always behave smart or kind. I think you summed up what's going on in the story pretty well.
