I'm so conflicted. On the one hand, good god what a dunce. On the other hand, I do love a good heart-broken desperate-looking man, and he does look heart-broken and desperate frequently. I feel like there's something about their relationship he hasn't revealed yet, like a soul connection or smth, that explains (though doesn't justify) some of his emotional reactions.
I'm conflicted, but that's also kind of funny???
I guess I'll keep reading for now. The premise is so cool, I hope the characters start making sense soon.
