I laughed so hard, Nana brought me back hahahaha. OMG...

but you know... It's true, for anyone who reads this and doesn't know, fantasies and sexual fantasies for that matter are not related to one's moral values. Reading, writing, seeing and liking our fantasíes or someone else's doesn't necessarily mean those are related to the real way we think.

I get that a message that it's repeated and repeated may evolve into an approved way of acting, but as with violence on video games, sexual fantasies (because common... BL sometimes is that) are fiction and while the watcher, player, reader etc understands that and is mature enough to see that in a real scenario, he or she wouldn't behave so approving, then there shouldn't be much of a problem.

Nonetheless if you are uncomfortable watching something, then go ahead and stop watching it, it's OK to like or not like something.

Have a nice bl reading!!!

    You didn't get the points.

Firstly, by trying to make this about fiction vs reality, instead of addressing the actual content, you're suggesting that masochism is immoral, given the storyline. While it is statutory rape the boy is directly stating that he wants and is directly asking the seme to violate him. These ARE his own desires not the seme's. This is one reason generalizing all fictional and real life events into separate categories is problematic.

Fiction imitates life. We get what we see in reality. Because authors don't pull things out of their @$$es but their own life experiences. So what's wrong with acknowledging that something is immoral even if you're just observing it in fiction? You can't handle it if you treat it as such even within fictional parameters? So much for being able to separate fiction from reality, I guess? Ironically, those who criticize it are more often able to filter out those elements in the stories while continuing to read them. It's just that the other side not only thinks criticism is an opinion that should never be allowed but also that no one has the mental fortitude to read stories with problematic elements if they acknowledge them as such.

Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate when people point out different ideas. Well, if you allow me, may I say something in my defense?

I'm totally for criticism and reviewing art in every form. I know it can sound hypocrite but let me explain, I may be wrong. I believe that art is an opinion and as that it has the hability and responsibility to express a message. Mangas in general are the same. I do believe that some tipe of content and ideas are degrading and promote unhealthy views, thats is why if I see rape, assault or others in mainstream content I assume it would be treated with the level of respect (sorry for the lack or words).

Nevertheless I'm not talking about your every day fantasy. We are not talking about your popular, your highly respected or your award winning content. In that matter I'm talking about a sexual fantasy, the obscure storyline, the hidden ones,or the ones deep in the cliche. Because at the end this may not be for everyone but for someone. I'm not saying it is banned from being judge, my point is that for you to find this content, you don't just stumble on to it. You LOOKED for it, and those who look find. And what do they find? Cliche. You can like or not the cliche and you can ask for more. But sometimes someone out there wants to write, read, draw or see cliche and have the right to do so. And the idea is that that desire to see cliche doesn't mean it has anything to do with your values as a person, or your "goodness". Because you can go out there and see a bad thing happen and react appropriately.

Lastly but not least, this Manga is half sex scene and half story. If I would want to see a 100% story I'll go read something else. So, because I would say a great deal of people are here for the same reason they aren't reading shoujo or Shounen Ai I can halfly say this takes the form of a sexual fantasy a sexual desire in the porcentage you want. And as that kind of fantasy it should be catalogued more into the hentai statues and not into others. And sexual fantasies don't necessarily come from deranged unhealthy ideas. Most come from daily to daily desires proyected in other forms, like this is one. People with ansieties tend to like Bdsm, people who look for approval tend to like treesomes, emotionaly restrained people tend to like rape ideas in their fantasies. That's even why soap operas are so popular, they fulfill a fantasy.

The idea I'm trying to convey is that there should be a harmonious way in which our fantasies and good art should coexist. There should be a diverse kind of content but wanting sometimes to see cliche ain't bad.

oh, I forgot, sorry. YES you are absolutly right, he isn't really being raped, i'ts to what it seems, consensual. I don't believe in any form that masochism is inmoral and I regret if in any form it sounded like it. My point was going beyond what was portrayed, that in general this kind of content tend to lean more into the real of sexual fantasy and should (in my humble opinion) be judged as that.

    have a nice day ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
