It is an actual psychological problem where people start to enjoy being molested. It is not their fault and neither is it disgusting. It is just what they went through at a regular basis that made their brain think that it is alright to gain pleasure from it. It can be overcome with counselling and support.
We might not know all kinds of problems that exist, but being unkind is not the way to go either.
It might be a real problem (I'm not an expert so I won't judge whether it's real or not) but I can judge it to be unsightly. For example, someone having the worst herpes is a real problem but I don't care to read about it so in he same spirit, I don't care to read about someone who loves being molested by strangers. It makes me uncomfortable...
Unsightly or uncomfortable is pretty different from disgusting. You might turn your face away from the person you mentioned (with herpes) and the thoughts of discomfort and the unsightliness will no longer bother you, but if you think of it as disgusting, you will actually kind of demean a person and their problem...is what I thought, so I mentioned.
'Coz molestation/rape or even herpes can happen to any of us, boys, girls, men, hell, even animals, so even if it causes you discomfort, you might not want to declare it disgusting as such....
Honestly, this is a whole thing. At what point does something stop being a fetish and become a psychological thing ? Or are all fetishes psychological in a way ?
So if someone cheats and then says it's psychological, can I not say that it's disgusting ? The guy in the story enjoys being touched by strangers, is that a fetish ? A psychological issue ? Both ?
I'll just say that, unless psychological issues and past traumas come into play and are clearly explained, I'll consider extreme fetishes to be disgusting. In my opinion, a enjoying public molestation is unsightly and very disgusting...unless proven otherwise.
I need to draw the line somewhere or else everything can be forgiven and overlooked because of that excuse
Actually, the thing is that no matter how many people we see, things we know, there will always be so, so much that we don't know. Your opinions will change and develop with every encounter and things you thought weren't ok till then will seem tolerable. The world is pretty gray. If you think something's tolerable, well and good, if it's not, as long as it isn't harming someone, why not let it be. I just want to say that even if you don't like something, instead of labelling it, why not let it be (as long as it is harmless).
Well, I think it’s not his fault and the author doesn’t have the intention of bringing this to life, and if you are afraid children would enjoy reading it than don’t worry it has the 18+ tag, there are a ton of shoujo manga about the female leads enjoy being molested, and the uke may be enjoying it physically, but that is just his natural body, mentally, no he doesn’t give the molester the consent and the molester manipulates him to accept that, the uke even states that he is scared. So stop saying bl is fetishized, shoujo do that a ton of time but people say nothing
It’s a psychological thing, the person provided real evidence and you call this poor boy disgusting or what he’s doing. It’s your opinion yes but that seems a bit rude to call it that way and it was in no way encouraging readers to do the same wth mabie if it was portraying the sexual abuse in a positive light but it wasnt
I hate chapter 5 but the rest are good. Chpater 5 is horrible for me. The uke enjoying being molested in the train by strangers is disgusting even if he didn't have a boyfriend. Having a guy who goes above and beyond to protect him makes the uke enjoying that even more unsightly
