This is also why on one hand, I blame Song Lan for showing up because the trio really could possibly stay in these happy moments. You can really see that Xue Yang essentially wanted to settle down with the two. These happy days with them were basically the childhood that was taken away from him. But on the other hand, it can't be denied that Xue Yang really caused atrocities and genocides. Xue Yang can't be forgiven and still needs to pay for his crimes. ╥﹏╥
i agree with what you said about how xueyang's crines can't be denied n that he needs to pay for them n i also like xueyang n songlan alot but i don't agree that if songlan didn't show up the trio could still stay in those happy moments. i feel that the lies would soon be exposed its just a matter of time and how. of course i do wish for the trio to continue living happily but it seems its impossible ╥﹏╥

Xue Yang is 3dimensional, he does not deserve a 'worst character' the way you brand him or your grammar is just bad. I freaking hate Danzou from Naruto, but he's not a 'worst character' in Naruto. He's a kind of a villain you enjoy to hate.
Song Lan is as interesting as a plank. If he was so brave, why didn't he 'forgive' his friend (XXC) back when XY killed the temple people. It was in no way XXC's fault yet his 'friend' so kindly shoo-ed him away after giving up his sight. XY is messed up in the head, but SL is as sane as someone gets. I don't favour SL at all, he does not deserve XXC.
A-Qing is smart, she never let her guard down but she saw first hand how XY made XXC kill those villagers in the beginning and she didn't say anything then. Afterwards they all fell into a truce, they helped each other live in the coffin house.

She wouldn't have guessed it unless SL or the Jins or anyone who knew how XY looked came along. She could have heard of a man called 'Xue Yang' killing clans and whatnot, but without a name she has nothing to go on about. Even if XY had his sword name written, she wouldn't have understood it. Only other option would be if XY boiled over on his own, yet he was acting tame on the last day they shared together, even happy.
I doubt she was afraid of him, it's explicitly said she had her guard up and that she was suspicious, but would you insult a possible murderer for years and years on? She has a temper tantrum and she was not afraid to direct it at XY, and she directed it a lot towards him. As it was said, they came to a 'truce' while living together meaning they left each other to their own thing. Simple.

How I gathered from the novel. That's somewhere when they first started going to night hunts together, probs a month or so after XY got well. So it was rather early when they started living together.
Afterwards (several years later) we are told that she stopped being so suspicious (I can't remember what exactly the words were) of him but still had her guard up.
That's why I think she wouldn't be able to figure it out without some outside help or if XY didn't snap. But XY seemed really tame/nice that last year

I wasn't really sure before about a lot of things with this manhua but I love how they did Xue Yang. I can't pick my favourite Xue Yang anymore, they are all my precious messed up boys. I know I'll be eating knives soon, but these drags of happy times are making wonders for me
