I love the main story, but the last chapter just didn't click for me. Mimi stated that she wasn't transitions for no other reason more than because she obviously felt like a girl, even saying that her gender has always been a hindrance for her. Someone who's trans just doesn't suddenly decide that they will stay as their assigned gender just because. The author shouldn't have declared Mimi as someone oh so obviously trans but as someone that loves drag a lot and whose life revolves around it, yet their love was so strong it was enough to make them give up on that passion.
