I never understand why in these kinds of stories the parents always wait until the last second to tell their child that they're going to get married. Like, don't people logically give you a heads up, like "Hey, I'm thinking of marrying you off, would you like to meet your potential partner?" And not: "Oh hey, you just came back from school. What? Who's this stranger in our house you ask? Your new husband of course! Lol totally forgot to tell you this life changing event."
