I always loved shoujo and it was what i mostly read before, but after starting to read more BL now i just look at some b/g once in a while.. it's rare.
I can, but not as much. I never expected to get so hooked on yaoi, or for it to completely change up my sexual fantasies. But it did. This is my life now. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
for me from the begining shoujo and josei did suck, the female protagonist is always kind of shy idiot and low self stemmed and the male protagonist is almost always a chauvinist so I got to yaoi with time, I do read 1 or 2 webtoon in a year about female x male but not a common thing for me anymore ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I personally think that there are some great josei out there, although not enough. Some of my favourite series ever are josei, after all. I adore BL, and I do love GL although I'm I'm not well versed in it become BL found me first (^^;;) I wish there were more good josei out there. There's some really interesting female protags out there, y'know? My favourite of them is Yankumi, from a series called Gokusen. I adore that series to bits~♪
used to be like this. though even before reading yaoi, the most shoujo werent my taste- so I find yaoi (or it found me^^). now I also like shoujo but only the more diffent ones? when they are good, I really do enjoy them a lot.
some people say they are total the same (only diff is gender) but I dont think so. I think the 'construction' is still diffrent. also in shoujo you often have this soft bubbles or something in the background, often a 'close up' on the female face when there is a supposted to be shocking moment lol
Girl you ain't weird, i also dislike hetero mangas, or hetero stuff basically, ever since i sunk deep into BL. I'm very picky when it comes to hetero, if the girl didn't interest me then im out.
Or am I just weird. So cuz I read a lot of yaoi I can’t read boy x girl anymore, and if I do I can’t read/see it as it used to be. So I just don’t read it anymore and I only read a few.
