What? You like yaoi yet you don't know what an uke is? That's pretty sad... Anyways, uke is the japanese term for "bottom" or the women's role/position in a gay relationship. Seme is the male role/position in the relationship, therefore seme is the guy that is on the "top". I haven't read the manga yet but I'm hoping it will be good. ^_^

But you seriously shouldn't say "why must you cry? It's not a sad story it's boring." Cause not everyone has a cold heart like you do. And if this isn't a tragedy you should go read some gory murder or something, I don't know. Just don't hate on this authors work cause it's just beautiful. Seme/Uke is pretty outdated within the actual gay community in japan. Neko (cat or kitten= bottom) and Tachi (sword/attack= top) are more commonly used now. there's actually a lot of different terms really. they're just another form of innuendo after all. :/

I don't hate anyone or anything I just find this boring no offence and yes I already read gores and still bored me to death except one Zetsuai & Bronze still they are complicated story and don't like it. so.... yeah! and thnx for telling me what uke and seme mean thanks and bow. Sorry but seme and uke are not outdated. The terms "Seme/uke" have been around as long as "neko/tachi". If anything, "neko/tachi" seems to be the older one.
