You loved this boy since young, been through thick and thin, he loves you too. You think the gods are with you and hes the one. Then on your special day, some A-hole barges in the church and says your union is gonna cause the apocalypse. Of course youre gonna be bitter. Of course, youre gonna try and suppress your feelings of love for him cuz sacrifice and for the greater good when all you want is to be selfish and heck all, "y u gotta be so rude im gonna marry him anyway. " then you watch said lover wait years loveless, envious of other giants who slaps PDA in his face. When that couldve been you two and he wont have to be lonely anymore cuz of that goshdang prophecy. Then suddenly, he cant take it anymore and put up effort to actually research summoning hoomans. And inside, youre torn cuz you wanted it to fail and laugh at fate. But seems the gods are still arent with you and now this hooman is getting all cozy in the home youve lived in with your SUPPOSED man. And you hate that everyone accepts him like "yay were saved!!!" While youre the one who made the sacrifice for the whole clan and yet youre alone in some island, treated like some common giant, gossipped prolly that thats the girl whos union with the king will bring badluck.. stay away from her. So of course. Shes gotta be bitter. Righteously so. And kouichi better damn know his place as the king's new man cuz without that prophecy, he would be talkin to the QUEEN.

Yeah but think about this thing for a second:
Caius didn't love her. He never did, and loves Kouichi instead. It's not his fault if the prophecy exists, and it's not his fault he got transported to Caius' world or whatever. He never wanted any of that and Medina has no right to go and act like a snake towards him. She's been there for like, two chapters in some scenes and she's already seriously acting like a bitch. She acts all nice in front of Caius' but then goes and whispers that stuff to Kouichi, as if anything that happened was his fault, and she sounded pretty menacing too. Has she acted normally and had accepted that the prophecy wanted that AND that Caius loved Kouichi and NOT HER, then nobody would've labeled her a bitch. All she had to do was be nice to Kouichi, but she had to act like that lmao.

Guess its part of hating some women in BL, is why people hate her so much (i also have that feel on some mangas but some of those women are justified in being angry at why they didnt get their ever afters cuz like its BL. )

I dunno tho but i dont think Caius love-LOVE Kouichi just yet. What if hes just being nice because hes just being considerate towards him. I mean he literally "kidnapped" him from his world but since hes the prophecized "wife" itll all work out somehow. What if, hes actually a genuinely good person thats been longing to be loved and to love after the almost marriage?
