Rethinking this....

So after chapter 17 I decided to look back at chapter 1. The high priest says "the woman who will be saved from the river will bring misfortune". The MC wasn't saved from a river but a pond(?) and after the poisoned/dying priest asked the goddess to help them was she wisked to the other world. Anyone thinks that she's ACTUALLY the savior and that the drowning "prophecized" woman that the priests are foretelling is the rival who will appear later?

I was going to question whether she was planning on jumping or she was passing by but the layout does seem to be suggesting the first

I say that the mc woman, she is the unexpected savior that the high priest asked the heavens for. And he never said which woman, just a woman that fell into the water. --> No lie, I got confused when I first read this part in the story. A prophesied deviation of the heavens before the high priests death. Hence, I thought the blond haired girl in a pink dress in the background would've definetly been, her (unknown identity), to cause misfortune and a rival. Or I'm just assuming. But, in the bio of this. It mentions that everyone would eventually either like or love the mc. So, I'll just see from there and how this story updates more.
