It's understandable that so many people in the comments are a bit upset but I saw the raws and, from what I understood, Sanada (the seme) fell in love with Itonaga (the uke) first. I feel like boys at that age must be scared and confused of their own feelings, especially feelings towards someone of the same gender. He lashed out at him because that was the only way to make those guilty feelings disappear. Especially in a country like Japan where being gay is not accepted by society as of yet, it must be difficult to cope with these feelings. I think Sanada, now that he is older and has matured, truly regrets what he's done and reflected. He wants to do better and convey his feelings albeit knowing that it will be hard to earn his trust back. I believe people deserve a second chance if the person giving that chance is emotionally ready to forgive or even forget. I'm not saying bullying is okay in any way, but often times there is a reason for behaviour like that and in this case I do understand in a way. Again, it's not okay but I understand.

I do agree with a many of your points, but I have yet to see him apologize or the few sad face count? He is acting like that never happened, and I have yet to look at the raws . His approach doesn't seem regretful, yet again who am I to expect character development when every yaoi fixes things with a bed scene?

That's true, it's messed up. He should've talked it through before anything else so I don't think his approach was right. Just tried to make sense of his behaviour.
