I agree that assumptions aren't good but the guy wasn't just with a woman, he was with a woman in a neighborhood full only of love hotels (they have those in Japan where there are specific areas frequented only by people who want to have sex because that's pretty much all there is there). Had he seen the guy with a woman at a café or just walking and laughing down the street then yeah but walking in this kind of neighborhood is pretty shady even if he wasn't the assuming type
Ok who cares about the logical sides of what I could use to argue against your point rn. Have you ever been in love? Have you ever liked someone so much seeing them happy with someone you dont know (but you know it's the opposite gender and it's not you) just absolutely crushes you? When you care for someone that deeply but they dont care for you, that's the first damn thing you're gonna assume. How many times have friends said something to me along the lines of: "yeah but I think he has a girlfriend. I saw him with this girl at this time at this place." Its something that is natural to assume.
Hmm. I would say it's kind of a psychological response. Well it's a manga not reallife. Still I have seen people when they have given up entirely with no hope left there is this automatic response and escape route forming in you that deliberately gives you an excuse that "it's ok.that's the reason you are giving up.". In here he saw him with a woman and remembered he is staright. And then wanted to escape that not to get hurt more. Geh I know nobody would get my point . Still (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
People like the uke irritate me. Stop making baseless assumptions. It’s annoying. He was with a girl so it must be his girlfriend? It can’t be his colleague, relative or friend? No, they obviously must be in love
