I don't like this story. I don't Mirai. I don't like the way he is treated by his boyfriends or how easily he moves on. Nor do I like how angry he gets with his friend for being a friend and defending him.
He's innocent stupid to the point of mental deficiency and lack of survival skills. He's luckily he didn't get murdered in the park. (2016)
Reread it Feb 2019: still don't like it. All of his exes were never sincere or respected him and his wishes or allowed him to be honest with them.
Mirai is an idiot in love. He reminds me of those chicks on Killer Couples who get swept up in being in love to the point of hatching murders. And yeah, I can see Mirai doing that. You watch 100 episodes of real life love stories turning a romantic couple into murderers and you can spot a certain pattern, a personality type that gets swept away with love and excuses anything even abuse.
Mirai would never say it acknowledge it but his last two exes abused him.
