They didn't show it in the main story, this is like talking about what they do while the main story goes on, you know. This is a filler about their daily lives and some interesting things and anegdotes that could not be mentioned in the main storyline without it being interrupted.
It killed me! First the baby-walker, she mastered the art of gliding in a baby-walker. Then the face-splat, I don't know how Hotei didn't at least flinch when he saw her, or laughed, just eerie silence and surrender. Then tattoo-poking, to this day she continues. The way she and Renji act the same way when together, really in sync! I laughed through all of the chapter, it warmed me up on the inside so much(▰˘◡˘▰)
