DO NOT APPLY IN REAL LIFE

This reminds me of that news about a teacher who had sex with her student (i think he was 15 at that time ). She was sent to jail but she still met with the kid and got pregnant (while in jail!). She got out, met with the kid again and got pregnant again. They now have two kids and she still denies that she committed a crime and puts the blame on the kid. The kid, who is now and adult father, realized that what happened was wrong. And because he had two kids with the teach at such a young age, he was forced to work instead of following his dreams. He can't even get a divorce bc he loves his kids. TRAGIC.

Yeah, but in this yaoi, at least the teach was more responsible and broke it off with the student.
Your story remains me of Macron (president of France) and his actual wife. When they met, he was only 15 or 16 years old and she was already over 32... Now they're both adults and married, but if you think of how they met, it's still kind of creepy.

This is why I basically ignore reality and focus on the romance when I read age gap ones featuring high schoolers. I just temporarily buy into the romantic idea that the love they have as a teenager will definitely last and all that. Thinking about reality always ruins it!

    Hehe. *waves*

(Well, I still have my limits - instances where it's soo far from what I can realistically accept that it interferes with my ability to buy into the fictional world they've created, even temporarily - but, if the story itself is good and matches its target audience (i.e. it's aimed at adults who SHOULD be able to read critically/with awareness), then it's fine, right? Not all stories are good/done well, of course.)

(I mean, nobody's reading those tentacle stories and believing they model how to have an actual healthy romantic relationship in real life, right?? Hehe.)
