Of course you'll need the help of a god to reverse the curse of your friend, because it didn't cross your mind that maybe, JUST MAYBE, you can actually save your friend yourself. Heck, maybe you can even become a god of your own. But no, of course you didn't think of this because what will move the manga onward if not the unnecessary adventure?
