I agree with you, Extraordinary. It's just that so many people love this overused trope (as evidenced by the number of downvotes you received compared to the number of upvotes the person who wrote the topic below you received) that authors write towards that base more often than not.
I don't understand it and it's not just this manga. It's the whole yaoi Genre and it's a bit annoying tbh. Maybe it's like this to fall in love but ... Honestly ? I wouldn't let anyone treat me like this. They should have some sort of self value if I can say it like this.... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Doesn't Asahi (funny, my phone corrected the name with asshole and I think that's what he is lel) know his story ? Ugh. I hoped that the mangaka would've chosen a different route but yeah...
