Ahah you might be right, even if i am a fujoshi and i don't hate Naeshiro. Probably 'cause i can't create ships in this manga, but i like the fact that there's a character like her that can lower the "obsession" Riku has for the boxe.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Naeshirou is a useless/insert character that is just there to make Riku seem more human than he is...and to give him "something" to protect for his story and for others to make use of ╮(￣▽￣)╭

It's funny how much hate Naeshiro gets on this site, the none fujoshi ones don't have a problem with her. She isn't projecting onto Riku, it's quite obvious boxing isn't just a sport to him, he's using it to resolve a trauma. He is slowly moving out of it though.
