This might sound stupid, but I also think Samejima (shoujo editor) may have had a small thing for Akatsuki at one point in time since we do see the figure of a man in the later pages of 78.8. Similar build to Akatsuki, and if I remember correctly, Samejima hasn't seen Shishio in a suit and tie.
Omg chapter 78.8, just realized that our sweet man Gorou from tsubaki chou lonely planet is working at the same place with the shoujo editor lol
