But you have to consider his personality too. He can't easily read emotions, that's what he said, so it's not easy for him. Also he doesn't really know how to act with a girlfriend, that's why he didn't even know that he should go on Dates with her. He is slowly learning. It's not like he doesn't care for her. He just doesn't know better.
I agree. It is his first time in love also. We need to know more background on him as a child and why he is like this.
I decided to wait till this series is over before I continue reading this series even though I LOVE it. I still keep thinking the manaka might pull a fast one on us like "Hirunaka No Ryuusei". That ending sucked. So I decided to wait so I won't get excited and invested this time around if Fumi ends up with someone else.
Don't get me wrong I love love LOVE this story, I get so excited every time I see an update, but lately a part of me has been analyzing this just a taaaaad too much and I need to share my musings.
I can't help feeling as though sensei is barely passing the mark of okay boyfriend. He does a few nice things to this girl - who for her whole life has been lonely and neglected - pays her a bit of basic kindness (that wasn't even that kind) and she falls in love with him?? I just feel like she has so many great qualities and shes settled for the first alright man in her life. I can't help thinking she deserves more, that she deserves better. I'm not talking about grand declarations of love, but just some interest from him, or even him helping her a bit more, or acting like an adult would be nice.
I love this, but it does make me feel like she settles for small occasional niceties far too often.
Anyway, that's just me over analyzing a fun story ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
