I love the character growth of both Shirosaki and Togame. I felt bad for both of them at some point of the story. Shirosaki, for trying to carry everything by himself to support his mother and brother even though deep inside he needs someone's help. And Togame for feeling betrayed after falling so deeply in love with a younger guy, and for losing all of his family member at a young age. Also, both of them for their insecurities.
Many people hated Togame-san for not clearing up the misunderstanding. But I don't blame him for choosing to leave. He's the one who got lied to in the first place. And its not like he didn't help when Shirosaki's in need. It's only human of him to be hurt, especially after all he'd been through. I think the extent of his retaliation signifies how much he's been hurt, and how much he truly love Shirosaki.
