Glad I'm not the only one who was pissed about that. I related to Kei's shitty childhood and it cut deep to think my parents never secretly gave a damn. Yeah it don't work like that, but yay for him, he gets a fairy tail ending
How it went with the dad really pissed me off. That little thing at the end really cannot make up for all those years of shitty parenting. I wished the author didn't take such an easy shortcut. The dad got off wayyyy to easy.
