More or less. But that is exactly the reason why I think a new experience would help DG. It's his first time with love/sex, and he has no idea how those should work. Although he might think he accepts what Alex proposes, it's solely so he won't lose his first love. That's where a new lover could enter and show DG that gay relationships can be "normal" - as in, you don't have to fear telling your partner how you feel and what you want (tbh even in the sex friends scenario that should be the case, but Alex sees DG more as a sex toy than as a sex friend)

TBH, My main issue with the black haired guy is that he's a total jerkass to the protag.Putting aside that he obviously has a thing for the mc, being sex friends and treating someone with dignity aren't mutually exclusive. That being said, the mc makes me a bit nervous because he always puts up with the other dude's shit without much resistance.
I normally am all for the trope "make the jerk seme think he's about to lose the uke so he realizes he's a jerk" but tbh I want Alex to REALLY lose DG (for a certain period of time) so he can repent. I also normally detest when the MCs get with the other people but I wish DG finds someone else to have a relationship with - not even for the sake of Alex being jealous, but only so DG gains some love experience with someone who isn't shitty so, you know, he can call Alex out when he starts acting up.
